The GAEA-2.1-CFS-159 version is optimized for high speeds and can be used in RGB color field sequential (CFS) phase applications. The light source is triggered by the driver board for 1 ms per color field. With 3 color channels per frame, this results in 180 Hz phase-only modulation. The display has an AR coating that gives a front reflection less than 0.5% in the visible range.
For phase-only modulation using this display version, the incident polarization must be aligned parallel to the display’s short axis.
