We introduce a novel interferometric approach for suppressing zero-order diffraction (ZOD) in full field-of-view computer-generated holography (CGH). Building on our earlier work—where we achieved 86 % ZOD removal—we developed a closed-loop correction scheme that measures residual ZOD at each pixel and recursively updates the LCOS spatial light modulator’s phase map to reach 99 \% removal (residual <1 %). Experimental validation on both point-cloud and complex 2D/3D holograms confirms uniform, ultra-high cancellation across the entire field of view. This compact, stable setup—based on a 4f optical architecture—is immediately compatible with near-eye and mixed-reality display systems and lays the groundwork for high contrast, full field of view holography.
